American T-51b units are American soldiers in the Anchorage Reclamation simulation.

Background

Equipped with winterized T-51b power armor, these soldiers have been assigned to the U.S. Army field headquarters as security detail and help prepare the rest of the T-51b units for deployment. Oddly enough, they are all male.

The American T-51b operators at the field HQ are just a bit more skilled than regular U.S. troops, as the bulk of the elite force is preparing for the assault on the refinery.

Effects of player actions

• Upon approaching the pulse field at the end of Operation: Anchorage!, the soldier carrying the flamer will charge into the field, killing himself.

Other interactions

• Although very difficult, it is possible to pick-pocket the soldiers' equipment near the end of the Operation: Anchorage! quest (both before the pulse field and outside the Chinese compound). Furthermore, it it possible to glitch these items outside the simulation using an Exploit. Note pickpocketing Power Armor Soldiers is extremely difficult and requires a Sneak skill of 85 or more, and even then still isn't guaranteed to succeed.
