Sssssshhhhhhuuuu... *BOOM!*

Algernon is a mechanical genius working for Eldridge of New Reno Arms in Fallout 2.

Background[]

A dirty, slack-jawed man, Algernon is usually rocking on his feet and making little whistling noises to himself whenever he is not working. To the casual observer, he appears to be a poor soul, tormented by his lack of mental capacity. However, when he is given a mechanical device, his genius comes to the fore. Algernon is an idiot savant, capable of understanding the inner workings of any mechanical device and unlock its true potential, even if he isn't much of a talker.
