As rare as it is powerful, Addictol completely cures its user of all addictions.

Fallout 4 loading screen

Addictol is a consumable in Fallout 4.

Background[]

A powerful anti-addiction drug, Addictol is an effective pre-War medicine that works both physically and psychologically to remove both the symptoms of drug abuse and the craving. However, it does not prevent relapse, especially in cases of long-term drug abuse (eg. Cait).[1] It generally takes a few hours to work and has a number of side-effects, including nausea.[2]

Characteristics[]

In game terms, Addictol instantly cures its user of any and all current addictions, perfect for removing addictions on the go. The downside is that its cost makes it a more expensive alternative to visiting a wasteland doctor.

Locations[]

  • Occasionally found in chem coolers.
  • Sold in small quantities by various doctors and chem merchants throughout the Commonwealth.

Robert DeLuca: "Is it going to hurt?"
Rachel: "You may feel uneasy for a few hours while the Addictol takes effect. But then you'll feel better than you ever have before."
