Contents
Background
A Pitt slave for as long as he can remember, Adan is one of the few steel saw wielders content with his lot in life. This is partly due to the philosophical texts he reads when visiting Midea at her quarters. He feels that since fate has given him this life, he must make the best of it.[1]
Daily schedule
He doesn't do much other than just cut and weld at a halved bus in front of the entrance of the steelyard.

Notes
- His attitude is optimistic because he has accepted his role in The Pitt. The basis of his beliefs come from the ancient Chinese philosophy of Taoism, his quotes are based on their philosophical text called the Dao De Jing. He states to the player that Midea reads the quotes to him from a book, though he never names it.
- Adan seems to die instantly from no apparent cause once the slave uprising begins in Free Labor. If you enter The Pitt Downtown from The Mill, you can witness him die and watch his body fling through the air like a rubber band.
Appearances
Adan appears only in the Fallout 3 add-on The Pitt.
Behind the scenes
When speaking to Adan, he will sometimes quote the Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu.
